  • Point out known or unkown stains to the assistant
  • Check pockets before depositing garments
  • if you spill something down your garment whilst out, do not rub the stain aggressivlely dab the area with a cloth then take the item for dry cleaning. Rubbing a stain can cause abrasion and damage a fabric especially silk.   
  • Don't keep your dry cleaned garments in their plastic covers for long periods. Harmful gases can build up and discolour your garments
  • Advise the assistant of any special requirements such as creases or starching prior to depositing your garments
